Receiving calls from abroad

Why can my daughter not call me from abroad yet she can call her dad on o2. Have checked and her number is not blocked. She says that there is no ring tone.

It is usually the host country where your daughter is not recognising the number, so not really a lot you can do if that is the case. 

A couple of things to try:

Try 0044 on the number rather than +44

Select another in Network from the settings.
