On Wednesday evening I was applying for an IPad contract through o2, I have had my own device & airtime plan with o2 for the last 3 years so didn’t think there was going to be any issues in doing so. Got to the end of the application and it was denied.. spoke with a representative at the Credit Referrals team and she was absolutely useless. Kept saying to ‘try again’, my partner works in banking and knows what effect that would have to my credit file if I did. She said for me to just wait for an email, which still hasn’t arrived. I am at a loss, I don’t see how my application was denied as I have never missed a payment on anything and I have a current contract with o2 as we speak. Never had any issues with o2 before this, all I’m left with is unanswered questions and whether or not I am able to get this iPad plan. If someone could get in contact with myself that would be great.
