I am trying to swap TalkTall sim for an O2 one I received in the post after arranging a new contract by phone. I am trying to follow the instructions on o2.co.uk/swapmysim, but when I reach the point when O2 should send me a verification code nothing comes. I tried three times to request a new code after 10 minutes, earlier in the day, and now I have re-started the whole process, but have yet again not received a code. I can‘t think what I am doing wrong - unless I was supposed to remove the old sim before starting the precess? Janet Winchester

You can't sim swap in this case I'm afraid.
You need to port in your number with a PAC from TalkTalk Guide: Migration & porting into O2
