Porting number balls up by O2

Hi, 

I attempted to port my number to O2 using the website twice but both times nothing happend so eventually contacted O2 customer support who took all my the details and told me it'd be ported the following day (weds this week). 

Thurs morning my phone showed my new O2 SIM card as not being provisioned with no signal and my old ID mobile SIM still working, didn't think that seemed right so contacted customer support who told me wait until my old SIM was switched off and my old number would transfer to my new SIM. Old SIM went off around 1pm and the O2 SIM never changed from not being provisioned. Several phone calls later and each time being told to wait 4 hours, it's now nearly 2 days that have passed and I'm still no closer, don't have a SIM card that works, a customer support agent told me this morning that the person who did the port did it wrong and did a migration not a port which was later denied by another customer support agent after the time scale they gave passed with no change. 

I fear that now my old contract has ended, I've been cut off and O2 has ruined the number port and don't seem to be able to sort it I'll be left with a phone and no way to recover my old number, customer support are truly awful in trying to help, has anyone here got any ideas on how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

In the exact same position, 2 days and no service from previous provider and o2. Kept being told to wait - was supposed to travel for New Year’s Eve plans today but can’t without signal. @O2Emma any advice? 

@Tim83 any luck getting yours sorted ?

I have been trying to port my 2 numbers since the 29th told it would happen on the 30th called back Late on the 39th to be told no

it would now be actioned today the 3rd my daughter lost all her phone @9:45 I called and messaged on line and was told it she have service back

by 6pm I explained she was travelling back to London and they confirmed all showing Red so will be done. Guess so hat she still has no service at all, mine hasn’t ported over yet again told this would done by 6pm. Tried to call back as requested to after 6 pm but phones lines message said as queue is over an hour long we can not take your call! Can anyone please help been nearly a week! Thank you
