Porting landline number

Hi. I want to get rid of my landline in the house but keep the number as I have had it for years and most people know it. How is this possible please slight_smile

Not possible at all, unless you plan on getting another landline.

There's no way a landline number can be used on a mobile without it being active.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

What on earth's the point in keeping a landline number if it's never going to be used? 🤔

Even if, as said, most people know it.

I think that what @John7777 is trying to do is to keep the number for incoming calls but to avoid paying a line rental ?
