Poor network coverage but O2 says itshould be fine

it isn’t and hasn’t been for years.  I picked O2 as it is supposed to be the least worst but we’re in a blackspot and I don’t think O2 links the postcode with the actual address, something I have noticed with other services.

@PaulV This site: O2 | Service Status is just a computer generated guesstimate and cannot be relied on as being accurate. It will be the same for any other network that offers something similar.

If your coverage has been poor for years (and I wonder why it's taken so long for you to say anything) then it's time to find a new provider. The best way to do that is to get Pay & Go sims from all the networks and see which one gives you the best coverage in the places you frequent most.
