When I go into the about page and look at physical sim it says network not available Phone not allowed??
I am not able to use my data or make calls. Lost phone over a week ago but it was found 2 days later. Have phoned 02 every day to try and resolve my problem. Everything started working on Thursday evening but 24 later I couldn’t use my data again. phoned o2 again and they said they have lifted the barring. My sim works in my husband’s device?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

@Denrob12

When you lose your phone, O2 block the sim and the handset. The block will be on your handset if the sim works in another phone. Guide here Guide: Lost or Stolen O2 Device? - How to Report it

Give O2 a call on 0344 809 0202 using another device or landline and they will lift the bar on the handset.

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

You may find your phone is still Blacklisted.  If you can speak to live chat or customer service and give them the IMEI they can get this removed and your phone should work ok after that

I have spoken again with o2 and they are saying nothing is Barred Also went into an o2 shop to see if anyone there could help. They spoke to the technical team at 02 on my behalf and tried a series of different things. The bloke in the o2 shop said he had never seen no network available/ Phone not allowed on an iPhone before. Don’t know what my next step is Everything was working fine until the barring was put on.

Hi @Denrob12

I'll give you a list of different phone numbers for O2 and hopefully you will find an adviser who knows what they are doing.

Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402

If you have no access to a phone then use Skype to call 0800 032 1402 Guide: A Guide to Skype

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call

Thanks Will try calling them again. They are adamant that there’s no barring by o2 but a lady at o2 managed to get my phone working by lifting the barring again, but only lasted 20 hours

Just spoke to o2 again and was told that my phone is still barred. Everyone has been looking at my account which shows everything is ok. Hopefully my problem will be solved tomorrow.
