Phone says no sim available

Hi my phone randomly says no sim available. I have restarted my phone, my bill isn’t due till the 17th I don’t understand why this issue is occurring I need to make phone calls and important ones.

Faulty sim or Device sounds like the possible cause.. 

best thing to do is to try your sim in another device and see if it works, this will prove out the sim, and put another sim in the phone as this will prove out the phone.. 

If its the sim then the best option is to pop into an o2 store with Photo ID and they can issue a new SIM card to you.

If its the phone contact the manufacturer of the phone for support and sending it for repair..

Your SIM may be failing, @Mmxoxoxoxo - if removing it and cleaning it gently with a non-abrasive lint-free cloth does not help, then head into an O2 shop, with photo id, and they can exchange the SIM for a new one, no charge. Good luck, @Mmxoxoxoxo.
