My phone keeps saying no sim card inserted. Then says sending a report. Help please??????????

Have you tried the sim in another phone.
If the phone is sending a report then the phone sounds like it has an issue.
Have you tried backing up the phone and then doing a factory reset first. and seeing if that clears up the OS issue.
It might also be worth contacting o2 to request a new sim card, you can either pop into an o2 shop with Photo ID or call 0344 809 0202 from an other phone
