Phone has a bar on it

Hi we had a bar put on our phones but we paid our bill nearly 36 hours ago and we still can not make a call or send a text

It can take 48 hours for payments to clear an that would not include the Sunday 

You will need to contact customer services

Also try turning the phone off and on through the day.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
