Hi, as the title says, I was accepted for a Payment Deferral for 3 months for my airtime bill today. The man at O2 said it ends in December, so does that mean that the months in which the Payment is deferred is this months, october, November and then I must pay the arrears of those months in December or does that mean the 3 months starts next month and the last month of deferred payment is in December? For reference my bill for this month came out Sept 8th but is direct debited on the 22nd so I didn't know if I have to worry for this month or not. Thank you.

@RipCitySaints0

As it's the 19th today, I doubt there is enough time to defer this months payment.

They would expect you to make the outstanding payments before contract end.

However, I'm not certain whether they will require the 3 outstanding months in December in one payment.

The only people who can tell you that are O2.

Call O2 using any numbers in this guide...

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

Also, press Upgrade, Fraud or Lost and Stolen if given that option.

PS a word of warning here. Others who have been given time to pay after speaking to O2, have found their service cut off.

Sadly that's an automatic system, which O2 need to override.

Oh yeah of course I would pay the outstanding payments by contracts end as I definitely be able to pay the arrears in December.
