PAC Number Changeover

Hi.

Do I need both my old and new phones to be turned on for the number port to take place? I moved to o2 from EE and supplied my PAC, the number is due to port today. Unfortunately my old phone is in for repair as it won't turn on.

When I call the number that is being transferred I get o2 voicemail so it would seem that the number has been ported although it has not switched on the new phone yet.

TIA

No you will be OK. Sounds if it is going through.

Try rebooting your new phone.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

You only need the new phone and sim switched on

Keep rebooting periodically until the port takes place
