Hi All, Has anybody had problems with receiving OTP codes for online purchases etc too late to validate a purchase?  Could it be an O2 network problem?  My iphone (iPhone 6) settings are OK.  The retailer (John Lewis NewDay credit card states their end is all OK.  Any other ideas would be welcome.

Hi Cleoriff

Thanks for your reply but it is not specific enough I'm afraid to the receipt of OTP's.  My phone is all OK regarding reception for talking etc , it is just OTP's I am having a problem with and from one supplier, not all. But they say it is not them of course.  I am just trying the find the source of the problem I don't think it is O2 but I just wanted to check if anyone has had a similar problem.

Thanks

Tony

@TonyR1

Have you recently ported your number?

OTP's require a separate port file to be completed which may have been missed.

Hi MI5

I have no idea what you mean by your question. I am not (obviously) a great user of mobiles, just being dragged along!  I seem to have no problem with other institutions sending and receiving OTP's so assume my phone is set correctly but will check if you can explain please.

II was just asking if you had recently moved to O2 and transferred your number from a different network?

Hi MI5, Sorry about the misunderstanding.  No I have had a longstanding O2 pay as you go account. I did read elsewhere that there are send/receive settings under Messages on the iPhone that might account for my problem but they were OK.
