@Mig1 Has customer service enabled WiFi calling on your account? If not, you need to call to have that done. Best chance of getting through is 8 am.

Thanks. I wonder if as I was on Carphone warehouse something went wrong in the transition. I must have been set up because it says o2wificall and it seems to be on but somehow I got charged as normal calls. I will call them first thing though

Wifi calling is not free. Any calls made are from your allowances

Anything utside your allowance is chargeable @Mig1

I don’t think that is it. All of my international calls were charged even though I was on WiFi and all local calls were not charged. I had plenty of data and loads of minutes but all my international calls via WiFi were charged as if I was using o2 network. Thank you

See my answer above

That is how it works

Your wifi goes via the O2 network when you make calls

It's definitely not free which is why you were charged for international calls
