Hi,

I recently switched to O2 last week after being with Three for almost 10+ years.

The service indoors I am currently getting is very bad and I the annoying part is that I cannot get 2FA codes due to this, as the signals are poor.

 

I have tried to active VoLTE but my CSC version is BTU and I am unsure this will work.

Can you confirm if VoLTE works on BTU as I really do not want to reflash to a differnt CSC as this would reset my phone.

Means nothing unless you have called O2 to turn it on and there are known problems with 2FA texts on O2.

SMS over wifi only works on iPhones and the Galaxy S10 range.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Yes it will work OK but you need to contact O2 to turn on wifi calling on your account first.

You can then enable it in your MyO2.

2FA codes over wifi are handset dependent though.

Thanks for the reply, I checked My O2 and it already has Wifi Enabled - 

'You currently have WiFi and 4G Calling turned on.'

 

Would 2FA come through with VoLTE enabled right.

 

Currently I am getting 0-1 bar of signal.

 

Sim Card Status states:

Mobile Network State: Disconnected

Signal Strenght: -108dBm 14asu

Mobile voice network type: UMTS

Mobile Data Network type: HSUPA.
