Hi, not able to receive SMS till the swap to 5g SIM card. Tried everything, network reset, phone reset called operator at o2, swapped the SIM into other phones with same issue. At present is still verifying my number in the chat feature, tried also disabling the chat.... Nothing...
I am waiting a call back from the technical team but could take up to 5 days...already 3 days with no access to banking due to OTP verification issue... If not fixed I may to change operator?
Any idea how to fix this bug?

So this issue got "resolved" by using old 4g sim card instead of new 5g? how is that resolving anything? I'm getting the exact same issue with my new (work) 5g card on my new (work) phone. (also tried it on my personal mobile....same problem) .
calls in and out. no problem.
sms outbound, no problem.
just no incoming sms's .
been in touch with business account support and they've been next to useless so far, ignoring all the info given about tried in a different phone etc..
been told to do **5005*7672*+447802000332# but my phone just tells me that there is an unknown error doing that.
this is doing me (and my company's) head in

Well I agree this technically is not been resolved by using the new 5G card but inserting the old 4G. However after 2 weeks of struggling and with no apps that could be used because of the verification by SMS, I finally given up as no one from tech team would be able to solve it... And using the old one was the only solution. Really difficult to deal when you have technical issues as no one from the technical team would be able to speak to you. Very frustrating though.

Have you moved your number from 4G to new 5G SIM?
Usually the old SIM goes into a "No Service" state, preventing it from doing anything.

We had to reactivate the 4G as the 5G would not work. We have tried 3 times with different 5G cards...

out of interest, I don't suppose your number was ported over from EE was it?
