No receiving sms after upgrade to 5G sim

Hi, not able to receive SMS till the swap to 5g SIM card. Tried everything, network reset, phone reset called operator at o2, swapped the SIM into other phones with same issue. At present is still verifying my number in the chat feature, tried also disabling the chat.... Nothing...

I am waiting a call back from the technical team but could take up to 5 days...already 3 days with no access to banking due to OTP verification issue... If not fixed I may to change operator?
Any idea how to fix this bug?

Is @@Sarah- on the technical team? She said she raised with the tech team and they will call... I have asked when and how long will it take, 11 days without SMS with no calls whatsoever... Really lack of interest on resolving the problem I am flabbergasted about the lack of customer service...

It is O2Sarah-, and she is an O2 Advisor, with direct access to the back-end technical suppor personnel, @Scaxuk - and this morning, it is @O2Helen01 who is on the early shift.

They deserve respect for the job they do here, otherwise you would be being referred to either CS on 202 or 4445 OR the O2 Social.Media Team, links below this post.

Nobody else in the Forum has the access to the Tech Support team like they do. If you have an issue with the level of support you are expecting, then you can tag the Forum management team, headed by @Martin-O2.
