I have been persuaded by virgin to take up this O2 account and have moved my old number over. My account with you still shows the wrong phone number,?? i was promised 4gb, but only seems to show 2 on my account?? And now i have no phone service to receive calls or texts... A local mast is out apparently and might take 2 weeks to restore!! I'm paying for a service that is unusable. My elderly mother, housbound, needs to be able to reach me. I'm still in the cooling off period and not a happy customer. Help please.

Your data allowance will be doubled in 10 to 14 days and is part of the Volt benefits Volt Megaguide
Check the status of your local network here O2 Service Status and register for updates.
Guide here to check also Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?
If needed, you should contact customer service as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or call on 202 or 0344 809 0202.

This is not O2 but a customer to customer help forum
If a mast is out you would have the same problem with Virgin as they use the O2 network
With regards to the Data Allowance the contract will show 2GB but you will have a 2GB bonus.
I'll put these guides up, they may be of use
