New to O2 - no service

Hi.

How long does it take for a sim swap? I've just moved to O2, registered my existing number/PAC code in advance, received my new Sim card and started with the O2 temporary number. After 1 day it has stopped working and I expected the ported old number to start working shortly afterwards. I'm now a day without service on either number. Restarted the phone but no change. Is this normal? What number I can cal to speak to someone?
