New phone won't make outgoing calls, changed to a 5G sim and now can't make a call but can receive and text

When did you do the sim swap, as it can take 24 hours to complete.
If more than that, then call customer services on 0344 809 0202 from another phone, just to ensure no bars on the sim card.
Also keep rebooting your phone, or putting it into airplane mode for 10 minutes and try again
