I recently added a new sim card to my account for my daughter and she kept her existing number from three. All is well until she sends me a text message. The message works fine but it comes through from the number that was associated with the new sim and not her existing number.

Make sure the number is changed on the phone, and shows as her old number and not the temporary number.
If that still doesnt work then you will need to contact o2, if you send them a message on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), or you can call 202 from your o2 phone
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
