New account and transfer question

Hey all - looking for a bit of advice.

Just joined O2 and gave them my PAC code when completing the order

Today (Saturday) I have received my new SIM but haven't put it in my phone yet.

Question is when do you think the best time to put the SIM in is and when do you think the number transfer would happy (Not at weekends right?)

I use my phone for business so don't want to miss too many calls / messages to my existing number

Hi @Edster75 

You've picked a bad time really. As you say, nothing happens over the weekend but we also have BH Monday next week, so the earliest it would transfer is Tuesday but probably Weds. You can put your sim in at any time and then have a look at this guide. Hopefully it will help Guide: Migration & porting into O2
