Hi, I have been an O2 contract customer for 7+ years and I want to get a new O2 sim card deal (from the O2 webpage) which is better for me. I also want to keep my number. Will I be able to change?

Thanks.

@Simonpup

If you go with the USwitch deal you will be taking a new contract.

In effect you will have two contracts running at the same time, so you need to call O2 when you get the new sim and ask them to migrate your old number to the new contract. This will end your old contract at the same time, reverting you to just one contract again.

You cannot just do a sim swap as that will still leave you with two contracts.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Simonpup Yes you will be able to change. Log in to your MyO2 page to see what's available to you:

https://mymobile.o2.co.uk

You can also reach O2 via social media for assistance:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Hi Bambino, thanks for your reply. I can't see the offer that I have found online. I found the offer on a comparison site, Uswitch, to be more precise. It looks like O2 don't want to offer me that item...
