New Sim wont connect to network

Hello, i have just recieved this morning my new upgrade (samsung s20) i have put in the new sim card but the phone is saying there is no provisions for the sim, and it will not connect to o2.

can you use your old sim in the new phone just now? your new sim wont be connected to the network and sim swaps are taking longer than normal at the moment.

Use your old SIM for now and switch to the 5g one after this epidemic has died down.
