New Phone (upgrade) and transfer to new sim

Hi, I’ve got my new phone today. Transferred all of my details from my old phone which was on O2. Put the new sim in my new phone (with the same number) but it’s not connect to the network. I’ve turned it on and off all day but still nothing ?

You need to do a sim swap to activate the new sim which is for 5g or just use your old sim.
