New APN Roaming Settings

Early in Dec 2023, I received an email from O2 which said......

"It’s time to update the APN (mobile data) settings on your phone. If you don’t do this, you’ll be unable to data roam when you go abroad"

I know HOW to change the settings but there is no information included giving me the new settings.

Not sure if it's a scam.

Regards, Channelman

@Channelman Those dated 2020 are still current . There have been no changes.

The only people that did need to change were ex Virgin customers that still had the Virgin APN set

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Thanks Enlli, that does explain why....... it's an O2 c*ck-up.

I've been with both Virgin and O2 for many years and now that they have combined (Volt) they assumed that I would need to change the APN settings but as you point out they have not changed.

Thanks O2 for wasting my time.

You're welcome, @Channelman - even if it was a team effort to get you there!

Thanks @Enlli 👍🏼

VMO2 is the combined entity, VOLT is a scheme for doubling data etc. Volt Megaguide
