NCK unsuccessful. MCK needed to unfreeze my O2 phone

Hi. I'm hoping I can get the help I need to relieve me of the stress I've just been going through trying to unlock/unlatch my phone. I've trawled through endless sites, O2 help and guidance pages, Samsung forums and even visited all the phone unlock shops in the neighbourhood. They all point to me needing an unfreeze code (MCK) and have all re-directed me back to O2.

I requested an unlock code from O2 and was very happy with the speedy response but the outcome of applying was unsuccessful. There began the journey. I've pulled most of my hair out. But, apparently I need an MCK code before entering the NCK (unlock) code provided by O2. Can anyone please help me? Can someone come as the light at the end of the tunnel?

One of our managers will get the MCK code for you. They won't be on until Monday morning though.

@Cleoriff  Thank you so much for that prompt reply, it's so reassuring, I'm feeling hopeful. I have the IMEI, the NCK provided by O2 and whatever else may be needed, please just let me know.

@Athy How old is your phone? Did you purchase it from O2? If you bought it from O2 after June 2018, your phone isn't locked to the network.

@Bambino Prior to June 2018. I've tried a different carrier's sim and it is locked. The shops I've been to have checked and confirmed this also.

@Athy If that's the case then you'll have to wait until Monday until one of the O2 admin that @Cleoriff has tagged see this thread and respond. Nothing else you can do for now.
