Hi all,
I attempted to request a replacement eSIM today via My O2, but it seems that the option is no longer available.
On both the app and the website, the option has disappeared, as shown in the attached screenshots. Customer support couldn’t provide a clear explanation, only suggesting it might be due to risk control measures. Their only solution was to send me a physical QR code by mail.
I rely on the online SIM replacement function as I do need to switch between two eSIM-only phones on some occasions.
Has anyone experienced this or found a workaround?

Yes, we are told it has been withdrawn due to the possibility of fraud
SIM cards can only be supplied by phoning customer services or by calling into an O2 store with photo ID
Bit of a pain really
