Message issue - failing to send or says failure but actually sends

since i have moved over from VM to O2 sim i am getting lots of failed messages or says failure but actually sends

If you have a genuine O2 SIM in your phone, not the original VM one, it usually resolves this weirdness - except for som Oppo and Moto phones with Realtek chipset - the manufacturer's are aware of this issue for O2 customers using the affected models - best thing to do is look at manufacturer website in this instance, @Fitzy - and good luck!
