MMI doesn't work what can I do

I have tried to increase the time between the phone ringing and it going to voicemail, we have found info on the internet but it says the MMI is wrong, help please

Turn off wifi and mobile data as required on some phones..

If a Samsung turn off 4G also. They will only send the codes over 2g/3g
