Hi there,
I was recently involved in an incident which resulted in me losing my phone. The phone was running out of battery and subsequently died. Due to the nature of it, I had to quickly get a replacement phone and SIM.
For obvious reasons I'd love to get the original phone back. Is there anyway in which 02 can assist in tracking the phone/number up to a certain point to maybe pin point the location?

Android & Apple have their own versions of "find my mobile", did you have either of these configured?

@TeaTwoSugars If you reported the phone as lost to O2 and received a replacement sim with the same number, the sim in the phone you lost is dead and cannot be used to track the phone.
You can, however, track it if you know the IMEI:

Unless the phone is still powered on, the best you can get via any method is the last location reported when it was on, which may not be where it is now.

Hi there,
Thank you for your reply. Yes I did, however, as the phone is off, it's not pinging 😞

Hello,
Thank you for the help. Yes, I realised that as soon as I got the replacement sim! However, due to the nature of what happened I had to get a replacement phone and SIM ASAP!
