Hi all, I hve a bit of a strange issue.

Im part of the group who should have been moved over from virgin mobile but have had alot of issues.

  • Virgin Mobile decided I was dead so instead of transfering my account they closed it instead. I contacted them and they created 2 pay as you go accounts (my mobil and my wifes) to reactivate my numbers then
  • After 1 week my wifes mobile number was reactivated but mine, which I have had for over 22 years, has not. It turns out that they did reactivate my number then applied my wifes number over the top of it
  • They were supposed to reactivate it again so that port it over

Is there any thing O2 can do considering you are the same company now? Getting hold of Virgin Mobile is near impossible since the merger

Thanks all

Getting hold of O2 is equally difficult.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

When these companies mess up they mess up big time

Getting them to take responsibility and rectify their mistakes is extremely difficult!

I am very pleased to learn that you are still alive !

Good luck with resolving that issue. I did think of suggesting that you contact the bereavement team. 😱
