I have an iPhone 12 Pro, I ported to O2 a couple of weeks ago.

I am finding the London Underground Wi-Fi never auto connects on my phone, I have to go into settings manually and connect to "WiFi Extra". I am finding the same at O2 hotspots, I have to manually connect.

Can somebody please help?

Have you changed any cached information for these two WiFi connections since you ported into O2 from your previous network, @CorrectHorseBat?

I am not sure what this means but I have got my iPhone replaced and restored to factory settings since I ported in.

Your reset may have lost the settings, here is O2's help page on getting connected to both services, @CorrectHorseBat

"

Most current phones with an O2 sim will automatically connect to Wifi Extra. You just need to make sure your software is up to date, your wifi is switched on, and that (if you’re on Pay As You Go) you’ve topped up in the last 30 days.

If your device hasn’t connected automatically, or you want it to connect more quickly, you can try to connect manually."

It doesn't, that's exactly my point.

Anyone from O2 want to comment, @O2Sarah?

Sarah is not on this afternoon, and your "ported in to O2 recently" makes me think...

I say this kindly, but you are not reading.

I can connect to it MANUALLY, it just does not connect automatically.

@CorrectHorseBat

There is no need to be so rude! This is a community forum made up of members like yourself. @pgn  has gone out of his way to help you and doesn't need to be spoken to like that. Good manners cost nothing!
