3 weeks ago i was given a PAC code from the company i worked for as i was leaving and wanted to take my number with me. Full disclosure I have an iphone and an andriod phone and a sim card fromO2 for a different number i wasnt using so wanted to move my company number over. They sent me a new sim card as i had lost the other one.

Since the transfer (3 weeks ago) i have no data no texts (iphone messaging does work on wifi) and only 3g coverage. The number was moved from a O2 business account.

Today following approx 3 hours of calls the number has been reset rebuilt, i was given a different number to try i was given an esim nothing has worked. On Saturday i actually got a call from someone who seemed to know what he was doing and he promised to call on Sunday but never did and here we are Wednesday and another call to ask if the data issue is fixed. Of course its not fixed as nothing has changed and they can see on their systems there is no data usage so i dont know why they need to ask me. Not sure what to do next other than get the PAC number and move on. Anyone had this sort of experience and know how its resolved? I don't expect another call for a few days as it seems the dialer takes 48 hours to push me to the top as there was an update on monday but not called until wednesday. Given my phone has never worked in this new configuration i thought O2 might consider this important to fix but clearly not. Im now waiting for the 3 line cave dwellers that you are not allowed to talk to do "something".

@Martin_J

Have you tried the social media team?

They are usually good at sorting out these kind of issues.

Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
