Is there anyway to talk to customer service?

I tried the 202 number and was given false information so that was a waste of time! What happened to the tech gurus that you used to be able to speak to?

 

I got a new S21+ at the end of May 2021 and it had a couple of niggling faults develop shortly after so I called and was told it's probably the SIM go to your local shop and get another, I've done that twice now and it made no improvement. Last week it became impossible to charge via the usual USB connection, the charging port is loose and the lead is wobbly and keeps dropping the charge. I phoned 202 on Friday and I don't think the person who answered had much of a clue about the technical side of mobile phones, he told me if I take the phone to my local O2 shop they would send it in for me and give me a temporary phone to use! Went to the O2 store on my High Street yesterday to be told that information was wrong as O2 had stopped loaning temporary phones some months ago and he couldn't take it in anyway as it was their last day of opening and O2 were pulling out... So another aspect of customer service disappears.

 

So getting back to my original question, is there a number I can call and speak to an O2 representative   in the UK?

O2 customer service numbers are: 0344 809 0202 or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Hi Bambino, that worked great thank you, Samsung tech is coming to my house on Thursday to do a 'doorstep repair', I'll let you know how it goes.

Well the service engineer turned up early took my phone and disappeared to his van, 40 minutes later he was knocking my door again with it all fixed, great service from Samsung well done!
