Iphone XS Max - cannot hear callers but they can hear me

Recently when callers ring me, I cannot hear them but they can hear me.  When I make a call, I cannot hear the ring tones or the callers but again they can hear me

My speakers work, facetime works ok, its just cellular

I have spoken with Apple and tried everything they suggested and the last option was to contact O2

Please advise if there are any network issues?
