Anyone had this problem? New iPhone 15, O2 business account (unlimited everything) and have international data and texts set up (according to O2). My work needs me to authorise payments with worldwide financial institutions via an SMS code. This worked absolutely fine in the UK a few days ago with exactly the same config but arriving in South Africa on Monday and I am just not getting texts at all. 4 hugely frustrating calls today to O2 support and they seem to have no idea why it works in the UK but not here in SA. Any ideas?

OTP's are not guaranteed to be delivered and unfortunately you are at the mercy of the South African Mobile Networks for them to be delivered to your phone, and some overseas networks are better than others at handing them off...

Are you receiving normal text messages?

Have you tried roaming on to one of the other networks such as Vodacom?

Also have a look at this guide Guide: Text Message Tips (not sent or received)

Tried all sorts of combinations of configs, using different SA providers, 3G, 4G, 5G etc. Not getting any texts at all so not just OTPs. I was out here this time last year and OTPs working fine. Difference this year is a new iPhone and O2 forced me to upgrade to new business contract. Not very good business support as O2 only work UK hours.
