Iphone 13 mini. Asks to set up pin code and 2 factor authentication after every ios update

Hi,

After every ios update, my wife's iphone 13 mini goes through the procedure of asking to set up a pin code and then 2 factor authentication. She doesn't use either (I have told her she should !) so I'm trying to switch it off so that she doesn't have to go through that procedure after each ios ipdate.

I can't find any settings to be able to do that and would be grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance !

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access wife's account which can't be done from here.

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) OR 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

Hi,

Thanks - but I thought it might just be a case of going into settings, finding the ones that apply to pin codes and 2 factor - then switching them to something like "never ask after ios update". I can't find those, so will have to go into local O2 shop I think.

Thanks anyway

Going into a shop would probably be your best bet. Don't forget to take ID.

Best of luck.
