Interference on line

Hi

I regularly have interference on my phone line and have to end calls. Please can you advise what this could be and how to stop it?

it’s been happening for a long time but has been worse recently.

Have you tried your sim card in a different handset to see if that resolves the issue, as it sounds like a handset issue. 

Can you also explain a bit more about the interference as well.

Thanks for your reply. It’s a loud whooshing and crackling sound that makes the call completely invalid. Usually only the other person on the call can hear it or I only I can.
