I can make calls and send texts but cannot receive either. Message from other phones says my number has been dialled incorrectly and not recognised

You may need a new sim. Pop instore with ID, explain the problem and they will swap it over for you.

As we're just customers like you, someone from O2 may need to reset your account. This can't be done from here.

Did you get this issue fixed? I'm having the same issue. I have been to a store and replaced the sim and still facing the same problem. Could you please help me out with how you got the issue fixed please?

Persist with O2 on 202 or 0344 809 202 (Contract) 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG) or via Social Media at the link just below. If calling, 08:10am us a good time - ask them to fully reprovision your account and number in your side, but be warned: 1. Make the call from a phone other than the affected mobile, and 2. You may be without service for up to 24hours, as your account is torn down, left for a while, and then rebuilt from scratch. Good luck, @Be_Kind.

Thank you so much for taking the time out to reply. I will do exactly as you say and call tomorrow morning at 8:10am from a different handset. Fingers crossed it works
