Have you completely powered-off and restarted the phone since the updates, @Jodon

@Jodon

Did you buy the phone from O2? If so was it a refurbished model?

If any of the above applies then it needs to be returned to O2

Hi

Yes I've turned phone off a number of times since updates. It heats up again as soon as I try to do anything on it!

Sounds like you need to take @Cleoriff 's advice above, then, @Jodon, unfortunately.

Yes purchased from o2 and paying monthly - not refurbished! If I send it back how long will it take as I need my phone for work?

Then there is a fault on the phone. They should replace it. Apologies I have no idea of timescales during this crisis.

No problem @Jodon . The phone has a fault. So you shouldn't be paying for it.

Best of luck. Stay safe.

@Jodon

It will be far quicker if you contact Apple directly.

Both Apple and O2 will only cover you for 12 months warranty though, so if over 12 months old, you'll need to pay to fix it.
