how do I resolve this ????

Have you ever @Stevegee been able to use your iPad Pro without using your 'phone as a hotspot ? 

 

There are two versions of iPad Pro, WIFI and cellular. The former only works on WiFi ; the latter uses mobile data and WiFi. 

 

Are you sure that you have got the cellular version ?
