I have put my SIM into a new phone, because the one I was using dided yesterday.

The new device is asking for a SIM metwork unlock PIN, but I don't remember it. Nor I have it written down anywhere.

Can I activate my SIM through my O2 app? If so, would anyone kindly send me the step-by-step guide on how to do it?

I am uning an Android device, if that helps.

Thank you in advance for your kind advice.

Hi @Oleksiy - sounds like you will need to get your PUK code, info here:

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/unblock-your-phone

If you still have problems, reach out to O2 Customer Services, the contact details for the O2 Social Media team are just below this post, "Who ya gonna call? O2 Social Media Team". Good luck!

@Oleksiy

Sounds like phone is hard locked due to too many failed unlock attempts.

You may need an MCK (master reset code) which @Martin-O2 @lewys-gp or @RafaC can help with.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you MI5, unfortunately this suggestion will not work for me, because I am not at this stage of locking yet. I am actually looking for the initial (the first stage) PIN.

But, thank you for your reply.
