How long does it take to un blacklist my phone

My phone has been in blacklisted however it still won't accept my sim card to allow me to phone someone

It can take between 24 and 48hrs to remove any blacklisting.. If it has been longer then you will need to contact o2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2

@Oafy Why was the phone blacklisted? Had you reported it lost or stolen? Is it involved in an insurance claim? All those factors can delay a blacklist clearance.
