Solved: How long are SMS stored when phone is switched off...

My understanding is that SMS will expire if not delivered within a certain time frame. Can you tell me what that time frame is please? Search gave a thread from 2013 which may not be up to date now.

I am planning to leave my phone switched off for a longer period, and just want to check whether I’ll need to switch it on at some point to make sure no SMS get lost.

I believe the server will attempt to deliver an SMS for 14 days and an MMS for 7 days.
