Germany - no internet connection with 5G

I am currently in Germany. With mobile roaming turned on the my Apple I Phone indicates 5G but there is no internet connection .

 

How do I get internet connection please?

Switch the iPhone to 4G, as it could be struggling due to the volume of people in some of the cities for the Euro's 

You can do this in the Mobile Data settings on the phone.

Change your data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

Must be a network issue then.

Do a manual network search and try a different network.
