Hello, I lost my phone recently and had to buy a new one. I want to end my contract and switch my phone number over to my new phone but it’s saying I have to pay £98 early termination fee. What is this fee for? As far as I’m aware I am just on a monthly data contract as the phone itself was paid off years ago. I’ve had this phone for at least 6 years so I’m just confused what contract is being terminated early?
