Using your 'phone as a hotspot is an excellent occasional solution when you are in close proximity to the person who needs the data, but I would not recommend it as a permanent solution.
I know from personal experience during Covid that it is a quick way to ruin your 'phone's battery, to the extent that after seven months of using it as a hotspot on a daily basis, my Samsung Galaxy would not hold a charge at all.
A replacement battery fitted by Samsung cost me a significant sum of money !
