Data not working in Europe

I have just arrived in Germany and my data isn't working at all. I am connected to O2 and there is a little R above the network (full bars also). I never received a text advising me of my usage in Germany either. I need help asap.

These are some tips to try :

  •   Reboot phone.
  •   Manually search for a different network
  •   If using an iPhone, change data apn to  mobile.o2.co.uk
  •   Call customer service to check for any roaming bars
  •   Or if you message O2 using the social media links below, they should be able to help you with this

Some things to try:

 *  Make sure data roaming and mobile data is turned on in your phone's settings.

          * Manually search for another network

          * If you have an iPhone change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

           * Try toggling Airplane mode on/off (it often helps kickstart things)

           * Drop down to 3G and see if that helps.

           * Contact O2 to see if there are any roaming bars on the account

And Make sure 4G Calling (Volte) is active if you need to make and receive calls.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
