Data connection

Hi,

 

I'm currently in Cagliari Sardinia and have been for 5 days with 12 remaining.

 

My data connection is absolutely terrible. For the most part it doesn't work, occasionally I get enough of a connection to send messages but that's about it.

 

I'm connected to the TIM network and usually have a strong or full signal but still no data.

 

Can anything be done to improve my connection?

 

Additionally, I've tried logging a support ticket through the O2 app but am constantly given a message saying that no agents are available.

 

Please help.

Some things to try:
Manually search for another network
Reboot the phone
Turn off 4g in network settings
If you have an iPhone change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
If still not working then contact O2 to remove the Roaming bar on your account.
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

@danielz000 - Some things to try:
1 - Reboot phone. (or toggle airplane mode).
2 - Manually search for a different network
3 - If using an iPhone, change data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
4 - Turn off 4g (use 3g) to start with, then step back up to 4G.
5 - Check with O2 for any roaming bars.

6 - Make sure your phone's Roaming Data slider is set to "on"

7 - Try disabling WiFi calling, if enabled, and reboot phone.
